19+2 is a 51-unit, 5-storey mixed-use development set at the intersection of 19 ST NW and 2 AV NW: the core of West Hillhurst's emerging high street.
Located less than 2km from Downtown Calgary, the project’s high-quality design introduces an attractive new mix of housing and retail options to the neighbourhood and improves the street level experience, acting as a catalyst for further redevelopment along the 19 ST NW corridor.
By design, the human-scaled building provides a sensitive addition to the neighbourhood, with consideration given to a rear lane interface with lower scale neighbours by carving the building to reduce shadow and massing impacts. The development introduces retail frontage on 19 ST NW and 2 AV NW along with an enhanced public realm and intersection improvements to make the street safer for people of all ages and abilities.
