Imperia is a mixed-use multi-residential tower with exposed structural elements and amenity spaces that create a high impact design.
Imperia is a 27 storey tower within walking distance of prime shopping and dining destinations, Calgary’s downtown, transit options and parks. 273 residences are incorporated as a variety of one, two and three bedroom options, providing future residents greater housing choice in an amenity-rich neighbourhood. On site, the building includes exceptional amenities on the 13th and 14th storeys, including work, fitness, and leisure offerings with great views.
Imperia proposes a high quality public realm meant to contribute to the ongoing growth of the rapidly evolving 4 ST SW corridor. Planting, lighting and furniture combine with five commercial retail units and an entry atrium to create an engaging and vibrant streetscape along both edges. Above grade, structural steel elements have been flipped to the outside of the building to celebrate engineering as architecture. This strong element combines with a soft lightbox carving of amenity space halfway up the building to create a floating feeling and visual interest.
