As an Urban Planner at CivicWorks, Joanna contributes to a broad range of projects including community and land use planning, spatial and urban design, community engagement, and development approvals. She applies a client-focused approach and excels at collaborating with team members from a range of disciplines to realize project visions and outcomes.

As a regular Guest Reviewer and Sessional Instructor at the University of Calgary’s School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, Joanna enjoys sharing her passion for urban design with emerging professionals.

Joanna splits her spare time between urban and natural environments. She’s equally at home exploring Calgary’s restaurant scene and adventuring in the Rocky Mountains with her husband and their border collie, Ashoka.
