With undergraduate and graduate studies that span landscape architecture, urban design, and planning, Kalika brings a unique design-oriented skill set, outlook, and multi-disciplinary understanding to her work as an Urban Planner.
Kalika plays a key role in CivicWorks’ advocacy, creative output, and community engagement service offerings, while also leading and contributing to a range of land use planning projects. Her diverse experience includes working alongside public, private, and not-for-profit organizations contributing to projects related to land use planning, urban design, information design, community engagement, and downtown revitalization. With a humanistic perspective and keen eye for detail, Kalika excels at distilling complex information to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
A proper urbanist at heart, Kalika enjoys cycling and exploring the little-seen corners of diverse cities around the globe. She can often be found adventuring with her partner in the Canadian Rockies, enjoying a cold glass of juicy pét-nat, or maintaining her slice of the community garden.
