Growing up in rural Alberta, Nathan has always been interested in both natural and anthropogenic systems, which inspired an education and profession in urban and regional planning. His approach embraces sustainable planning practice by prioritizing environmental integrity and social wellbeing through the development process.

As an Urban Planner, Nathan brings experience from across Alberta in both the public and private sectors. His work focuses on creating a cohesive and engaging environment that bridges the gap between the public and private realms.

When not in the office, Nathan is usually found with either a cold brew or craft beer in hand on a patio enjoying Calgary’s short-lived summers with his dog or heading to the mountains for a ski day. Although not a popular opinion in Calgary, his favourite weekend getaway is to Edmonton for his favourite burger and fries.
